First off, here Jann Christoph von der Pütten shares some visual writing prompts for writers to enjoy. In line with my theme, these really give the impression of the time Jann has taken to observe his surroundings, and to pick out fascinating details:
A lot of my own observation of the world happens when out walking my dog, and this amusing piece by Anna Flynn really made me smile and nod in recognition:
